What kind of trips does Global Glam Travel book?
Our specialty is international travel and we can also book domestic trips to cities in the U.S. if accommodations and scheduled tours or activities are included in the itinerary. Our priority is travel that focuses on adventure, culture, history, entertainment, unique and / or luxurious experiences. Explore here
Do your itineraries include leisure days?
Of course! The itineraries are designed to be fully customized to whatever you (the client) request. That is what sets us apart from other travel professionals that have already created a preplanned mass marketed itinerary for you. We make YOUR travel dream come true from beginning to end.
Will you book a trip for any global destination?
Yes. We have specialty destinations where we have traveled ourselves and have a lot more "on the ground" experience. We will also plan trips to destinations where we haven’t been, but where we have extensive contacts and resources to ensure the trip is thoroughly researched and well planned.
Will you book cruises?
Yes, we book river and ocean cruises packages.
Will you book flights?
Yes, we can book flights.

Clients receive assistance booking some or all of the following: transfers to and from airports, hotel / resort accommodations, local transportation and itineraries that include scheduled tours, special activities, restaurant / entertainment reservations.

We are not a service for the traveler whose main priority is a low budget.
Why should I book with Global Glam Travel instead of booking my own trip?

International Travel is not as easy as it used to be with a U.S. passport. Many countries now require Americans to have entry visas, travel authorizations forms, special insurance, health requirements / inoculations - all completed before arrival depending on the destination. You don’t want to leave any of that to chance and be denied entrance upon arrival after a long flight.

There are also international locations - not always rural areas - where your phone may actually not connect to Wi-Fi which could impede your ability to find a ride share or access driving directions or look up your hotel address to give to a taxi driver.

We also recommend using a travel specialist because you don’t know what you don’t know.

A travel specialist knows the ins and outs about a destination that you may not be knowledgeable about including political situations, general safety information, climate patterns or holidays / seasonal events that may affect hours or closures at popular tourist attractions.

If you book your own travel and think you’re getting a better deal and you arrive at your destination to find out the transportation you booked is not private, or the hotel, meals or tours booked are sub-par, costs may have been reduced and so is the experience. You get what you pay for!

By using Global Glam Travel, if anything needs to be addressed immediately, you can contact us and we will respond.

By booking the travel for you, we also provide you with local contacts during your trip who can assist you as needed.
If I book with Global Glam Travel, am I being charged more for my trip?
No, we have access to the same online booking sites you do and we can price match when comparing identical options. In some instances, you may pay less because we can provide exclusive discounts or have access to promotional offers that are not available to the general public.
How does the Global Glam Travel specialist earn money?
Global Glam Travel works with reputable and vetted global Tour and Travel Operators and suppliers who have the local contacts and resources to schedule and book everything including accommodations, entertainment, tours, guides, activities and transportation. We receive a commission from the Tour Operator. You are not charged an increased cost if you book with us versus booking online on your own.
We honor your budget; however, we will not lower our standards to accommodate a lower budget if we cannot find providers that are reputable, vetted and proven because we are committed to providing excellent, upscale service.
Does Global Glam Travel charge a service fee?
Global Glam Travel does not charge a service or fee unless the trip is for more than 10 people AND includes more than one destination. Those trips are more complex and require extra planning time. The Service fee cost is provided to clients after the initial consultation and is based on the number of passengers, destinations and itinerary complexity. If the client decides to move forward and upon payment of the service fee, planning begins. Service fees can be made to Global Glam Travel through ZELLE, check, credit / debit card.
Do I need to pay for my trip in one payment?
Trips require a deposit in order for everything to be booked and then generally within 60 to 90 days of travel, final payment is required. Deposit costs vary depending on the type of trip that is booked, what’s included and the destination. Terms and conditions regarding pricing is provided prior to booking a trip. We understand how busy everyone is; therefore, Global Glam Travel will also send clients a friendly reminder one month, two weeks and one week prior to final payments due dates.

Global Glam Travel does not accept payments for trips.

We can make payments on your behalf with your credit / debit card to the tour operator if you would like us to do so.

Most tour operators have easy to use websites or customer service representatives in which payments can easily be made directly by you with a credit / debit card for peace of mind.
How are payments handled and is it secure?
Most clients make their own payments directly to the tour operator. Most tour operators have websites that are easy to use to make payments using a credit / debit card. If clients want Global GLAM Travel to make a payment on their behalf, we will certainly do so.
I’d like to plan a trip with Global Glam Travel but I don’t have traveling companions. Can you help locate other like-minded travelers?
If that is your situation, please let us know and we will work closely with you to try to find a suitable traveling companion. We handle those situations on a case by case basis as it is our top priority to ensure our clients’ safety.
What travel insurance does Global Glam Travel offer?
We work closely with Travel Guard. Upon your request, we can also investigate other travel insurance suppliers for you and provide you with a couple of options.
How does Global Glam Travel provide travel documents?
Two weeks to one month prior to your departure date, all travel documents are emailed to you and we will also send you hardcopies via USPS mail if you would like.
What will happen if I have to cancel a trip?
Prior to booking your trip, travel insurance will be discussed with you in detail and you will be provided options to compare and knowledgeably purchase the best travel insurance for you which will cover a variety of circumstances related to canceling, rescheduling or shortening a trip due to health or other emergencies.
Do you have experience planning complex trips for large groups?
Yes. Global Glam Travel has prepared trips for up to 12 in a group for international destinations with travelers arriving from multiple cities. Global Glam Travel has just recently prepared a complex 12 day trip for 9 travelers to Tanzania, Zanzibar and The Seychelles.
